The International Action Group (IAG) is a global project with the vision to generate environmental, political, social, and economic change within communities across the world, through providing a safe space for essential engagement and collaboration among young people. The IAG vision is one of encouragement, cooperation, and action.
The IAG was founded by fifteen young students from around the world, of whom met through the CWMUN (Change the World Model UN) program in June 2020. The MUN experience provided the inspiration for such a partnership to take place and the motivation behind the focus of the project. The IAG aims to encourage and promote varied and widespread discussions on the pressing world issues of today and give voice to young people in advocating for change. It is then through these imperative discussions that prospective action and ideas are positively generated to address such adverse issues within our communities. The IAG believes that all change, big or small, should be welcomed.
The IAG seeks to discuss current and relevant topics of issue, such as environmental protection against climate change, systemic inequalities, human and social rights, international affairs, international business economies, human injustice, global mental health conditions, poverty, and much more.
Together, we can encourage the much-needed discussions concerning these topics of issue. Together, we can empower even more voices to speak up join in to seek necessary change.
Together we can make a better world.
It’s our time. Let’s be seen. We must not be afraid to be a part of the solution.
